Meet The Team

Meet our friendly, experienced and dedicated therapy staff:

Alison Wild, DPT:
Ali is the newest member of our team.  She became interested in the field of physical therapy after her mother was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.  Ali attended Marquette University and received her undergraduate degree in exercise physiology and her doctoral degree in physical therapy.  Ali enjoys working with complex patients, including individuals who are recovering after a stroke.  Ali has been a member of the APTA since 2009.  In her free time, Ali enjoys social swing dancing, shopping and cuddling with her dog on the couch.  Ali has participated in 3 half marathons and is working to improve her Spanish language skills to improve her communication with our Spanish-speaking clientele.  Ali’s motto is, “you can do anything you put your mind to.”

Susan Klas, PTA:
Susan has worked for Associated Physical Therapists of Milwaukee since 1997.  Susan graduated from the Milwaukee Area Technical College in 1997 with an Associate's Degree in the Physical Theapy Assistant program.  Susan is active in the WPTA and takes an interest in staying up on the latest research and treatment techniques.  She has taken continuing education courses in a variety of areas, including edema control, kinesiotaping, muscle energy, PNF, manual therapy, Bell's palsy, Sahrmann's muscle imbalance techniques, Mulligan, Gary Grey's functional interventions and Pilates.  Susan has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 1996 and is also a member of the orthopaedic section.  Susan's personal motto is "Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference."  Susan demonstrates this motto every day with her energetic and positive nature.  When Susan is not busy at our clinic, she has a number of other interests, including roller-skating, watching roller derby, gardening, Zumba, traveling to exotic places and spending time with her family.

Rita Clark, PTA:
Rita has been a physical therapy assistant at our clinics since 1991.  Before becoming a licensed PTA, Rita worked as a Physical therapy aide.  Rita is trained in a variety of specialty services, including manual therapy, myofascial release, muscle energy, strain-counterstrain, TMJ dysfunction, core stabilization and work conditioning.  Rita's motto is "treat others as you would like to be treated."  Rita exemplifies this motto every day with her excellent patient care.  Rita is active outside of work as the mother of two Eagle scouts and as a volunteer at church in a youth group.  Rita has two Border Collies at home who keep going 24/7.  Rita also enjoys making jewelry, needlepoint and other craft projects.

Dana Washburn, OTR:
Dana has been a licensed occupational therapist for more than 12 years.  She received her Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from Rush University in Chicago, Illinois.  She has experience in a variety of settings, including acute care, rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities and home health care prior to beginning work at our outpatient clinic.  Dana is a certified Kinesiotaping practitioner and  has taken advanced coursework in Neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT) and myofascial release.  Dana is also a member of the AOTA and WOTA.  Dana's motto of "a positive attitude makes almost anything possible" is reflected in the treatment she provides to every patient.  Dana enjoys shopping at World Market and is busy with Zumba classes and activities with her three children.
